Key Responsibilities of a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

• Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and comfort.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment.

Qualifications for Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)

• Current Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification, or equivalent (CNA, HHA) required.
• Prior experience providing personal care or support to individuals in their homes or a care setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and their families.
• Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized care.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
