What You Will Do?

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with CareHero, you will provide supportive and enriching care to individuals in their homes, helping them stay safe, active, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for PCAs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities of a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and CareHero staff regarding client needs and progress.

Qualifications for Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

• Valid Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification, CNA, HHA, or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in home care or a similar caregiving role preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to client well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
