What You Will Do?

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with CareHero, you will provide supportive and enriching care to individuals in their homes, helping them stay safe, active, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for PCAs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others in Somerville.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with medication reminders and appointment scheduling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Valid CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to perform duties independently and reliably.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
