What You Will Do?

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with CareHero, you will provide essential supportive and enriching care to individuals in their homes, helping them stay safe, active, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for PCAs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others on the North Shore.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with safe mobility and transfers, ensuring client comfort and safety.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities tailored to the client's interests.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience providing personal care to seniors or individuals needing assistance.
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
• Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
