What You Will Do as a PCA?

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with CareHero, you will provide essential supportive and enriching care to individuals in their homes, helping them stay safe, active, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for PCAs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide essential personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and comfort.
• Support with light household tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
• Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior to family/supervisors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Valid PCA, HHA, CNA, or similar certification is mandatory.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
