What You Will Do?

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with CareHero, you will provide essential supportive care to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living activities to help them stay safe, independent, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for PCAs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities of a PCA

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility support, including transfers and ambulation assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, reporting any changes in the client's condition.

Qualifications for PCA Roles

• Possession of a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or equivalent certification is required.
• Prior experience providing personal care or assistance with ADLs, either professionally or personally.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and families.
• Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized care.
• Successful completion of a background check.
