What You Will Do?

As a Personal Care Assistant with CareHero, you will provide supportive and enriching care to individuals in their homes, helping them stay safe, active, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for PCAs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) including light meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients, reporting any changes in condition or concerns.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and CareHero team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is essential.
• Possession of a valid PCA, HHA, or CNA certification, or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to perform duties independently and reliably, with a commitment to client well-being.
• Successful completion of a background check and valid driver's license (if applicable for client transportation).
