What You Will Do?

As a companion caregiver with CareHero, you will provide supportive and enriching companionship to individuals in their homes, helping them stay safe, active, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through companionship and light assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities (e.g., conversations, games, hobbies)
• Assist with light household tasks (e.g., meal preparation, tidying up, laundry)
• Provide transportation and assistance with errands, appointments, and social outings
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to understand needs and preferences

Qualifications

• Prior experience providing companion care or similar support (either professionally or personally)
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar certification is preferred, but strong experience will be considered
• Ability to communicate effectively, empathetically, and compassionately
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality companion care
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation (for errands/appointments)
