What You Will Do?

As a companion caregiver with CareHero, you will provide supportive and engaging care to individuals in their homes, helping them stay active, connected, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through companionship.

Key Responsibilities for Companion Care

• Offer companionship and engaging activities (e.g., conversations, games, reading)
• Assist with light household tasks (e.g., meal preparation, tidying up, laundry)
• Provide transportation and assistance with errands or appointments
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client
• Communicate effectively with families and maintain professionalism

Qualifications for Companion Care

• Prior experience providing companionship or care to seniors (either professionally or personally)
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar certification required
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care
• Clean background check required
