What You Will Do?

As a companion caregiver with CareHero, you will provide supportive and enriching companionship to individuals in their homes, helping them stay safe, active, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through meaningful connection.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities (e.g., reading, games, conversation)
• Assist with light household tasks (e.g., meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry)
• Provide transportation and assistance with errands or appointments
• Offer medication reminders and ensure a safe, comfortable environment
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families, reporting any changes in condition

Qualifications

• Prior experience providing companionship or care to seniors (either professionally or personally)
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar certification required (or equivalent experience and willingness to obtain certification)
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality companion care
• Clean background check and valid driver's license with reliable transportation
