What You Will Do?

As a companion caregiver with CareHero, you will provide supportive and enriching care to individuals in their homes, helping them stay safe, active, and comfortable. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and engaging activities (e.g., reading, games, conversation)
• Assist with light household tasks (e.g., meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry)
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and social outings
• Ensure a safe environment and communicate any changes in the client's condition
• Collaborate with families to understand individual needs, preferences, and goals

Qualifications

• Prior experience in companion care or working with seniors (either professionally or personally)
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar certification required
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care
• Clean pass required background check
