What You Will Do?

As a companion caregiver with CareHero, you will provide supportive and enriching care to individuals in their homes, focusing on companionship, social engagement, and assistance with daily living activities. You’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through meaningful connection.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities (e.g., conversations, games, hobbies)
• Assist with light household tasks (e.g., meal preparation, tidying up, laundry)
• Provide transportation and assistance with errands or appointments
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care needs and updates

Qualifications

• Prior experience in companion care, elder care, or a similar supportive role (either professionally or personally)
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or equivalent certification/experience in caregiving is highly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively, compassionately, and build rapport with clients
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care
• Clean background check and valid driver's license with reliable transportation
