At Care Hero, we strive to provide safe and reliable medical transportation, home health care, and companionship services for you and your loved ones. To ensure a smooth experience for all our clients, we have outlined our booking policy as follows:
Extended Service Time Policy
For each transportation booking, we communicate with the client with a specified duration at the time of booking. When the actual service duration exceeds the scheduled time due to client-related delays or additional requests, an additional fee will be applied. Our drivers will notify clients in advance if they are approaching the end of the scheduled service time and inform them of the potential for additional charges. Clients will be asked to confirm any extensions verbally or in writing, and this confirmation will be documented. The additional fee will be calculated based on an hourly rate of $35 for each additional hour or $17.5 for each additional 30 minutes or portion thereof. Extended service time charges will be provided to the client as an additional invoice.
Safety Policy
Our top priority is the safety of our passengers and drivers. Our drivers are trained to assess each situation and ensure that every ride is safe and comfortable.
Driver's Right to Refuse Service: Our drivers have the right to refuse a ride if they determine that the situation is unsafe. This decision is made solely to protect the well-being of our clients and staff. In such cases, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative solution.
Health and Safety Measures: We adhere to the highest standards of health and safety, including regular vehicle maintenance, driver training, and compliance with all relevant regulations. We strongly encourage you to wear seat belts and follow any additional safety instructions provided by the driver.

Welcome to Go Care Hero, a platform connecting families and seniors with caregivers. By using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. Please read these terms carefully before using the services offered by Go Care Hero.
By accessing or using the Go Care Hero platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, along with any future modifications. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must stop using the platform.
Go Care Hero provides an online marketplace where caregivers can create profiles, and families or seniors can search for caregiving services. These services include, but are not limited to, companionship, medical transportation, and home health aide services.
We act as an intermediary between caregivers and families but do not employ caregivers directly. All hiring and engagement agreements are between the caregivers and families.
User Responsibilities
Caregivers:
Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information in your profile. Any misrepresentation may lead to suspension or removal from the platform.
Background Check Compliance: Caregivers are required to consent to background checks. Failure to pass a background check may result in your inability to use the platform.
Independent Contractors: Caregivers using Go Care Hero are independent contractors, not employees of Go Care Hero. You are responsible for any tax, insurance, or other obligations related to your services.
Family & Seniors:
Payment: You agree to pay for the services rendered by caregivers according to the terms of your agreement with the caregiver.
Use of Information: Any caregiver profile information accessed on the platform is to be used solely for the purpose of selecting and hiring caregiving services.
User Accounts
To use the platform, you may need to create an account, provide a valid email address, and choose a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any activities under your account.
Go Care Hero reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at its sole discretion if any activities violate these Terms of Use or applicable laws.
Payments and Fees
Go Care Hero facilitates payments between caregivers and families:
Service Fees: Families agree to pay caregivers for services rendered, along with any platform service fees as agreed upon during booking.
Payment Processing: We use third-party payment processors. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for any delays or issues with payment processing.
Disputes: Any payment or service disputes between caregivers and families must be resolved directly between the parties involved. Go Care Hero may assist in the resolution but is not liable for any disputes.
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy
Cancellations Made 3 Days in Advance:
If you need to cancel your booking, you can do so up to three days before your scheduled ride for a 70% refund of the total fare.
Same-Day Cancellations:
Cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled ride are not eligible for a refund. We encourage you to notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your ride.
Rescheduling Policy:
You may reschedule your ride without any penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, subject to availability.
Employment Relationship
Caregivers are independent contractors, not employees of Go Care Hero. Go Care Hero does not assume any responsibility for the actions, inactions, or performance of any caregivers listed on the platform.
Background Checks and Verification
Go Care Hero may conduct background checks on caregivers to promote safety and trust on the platform. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of these checks. Families and seniors are responsible for performing their own due diligence when selecting caregivers.
Go Care Hero is a neutral platform that facilitates connections between caregivers and families. We do not provide direct caregiving services or oversee the actions of caregivers or families. You agree that Go Care Hero is not liable for any damages, claims, or injuries arising from:
The actions or inactions of any caregiver or family.
Any agreements or interactions made between caregivers and families.
Any information or content provided by users on the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Care Hero disclaims all warranties and liabilities related to your use of the platform.
Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these Terms of Use, engages in illegal activity, or fails to comply with payment terms.
Intellectual Property
All content and materials on the Go Care Hero platform, including logos, trademarks, and text, are the intellectual property of Go Care Hero. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the platform without prior written consent.
Privacy
